A very charming and affordable spot in a remote location. The building was once quarters for Air Force officers, and Tim and Sandie (the owners) have done a great job transforming it into a great lodging spot. They're also very hospitable, kind folks! The place is clean and the beds are comfortable. There's a community kitchen and fridge to accommodate cooking during your stay, which might be helpful since most restaurants are a 20-30 minute drive away. The ratio is one bathroom per two rooms (that was how the officer quarters were set up), but it's not an issue especially if you're booking multiple rooms for multiple people since you'll be side-by-side.

This is our second year staying at The Bunker Inn. Sandy and Tim are the best hosts ever! Sandy made sure we were happy with our reservations- Yes, the place is not the Hilton, but it’s clean and affordable!!! ! Our racing family stays here twice a year. My tradition is to make a full spaghetti and meatballs dinner and invite Sandy and Tim to join us… There is always a group picture and lots of laughs! Wish I could post a picture The screened in gazebo in the yard is perfect for late night drinks and conversation! My husband loves to hear Tim talk about his military days! We stay in touch all year on Facebook! Can’t wait to go back!!

Excellent inn. No AC in most rooms but it's nice and cool at night so windows work. Tim and Sandy are great as well. Make you feel welcome. Kitchen, grill, and laundry available. We stay here whenever we're in the area.

An unknown gem off the west side entrance to Loring base with trail and road access especially for snowmobiling groups. Easy access and community dining at night

If you are a snowmobiler or an outdoor enthusiast , The Bunker Inn is the place to stay in the area. Trail access to all the county trails is right out your door. Tim. Sandy & Lori are the hosts and they are the most friendly folks you could meet. They welcome all the guests as if they were family. Meal times in the community shared kitchen at the Inn were great. They were a mixture of guests from all over the US and was interesting to share stories with them. We are getting ready to book with them again for our next snowmobiling trip.

I always look forward to staying here when my mom is in town. The airfield is just a mile away and that's where the time trials are performed. The owners are so nice and are always around if you need anything. The building itself is the old officers quarters so it's a bit of history in itself. My only complaint is the lack of air conditioning.
